Ingredients
  

Making some dough

  • Cups All purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Curry powder
  • 2 tbsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Cup Butter (2 sticks) Grated
  • 1 Cup Cold water

For meat filling mixture

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 Large Onion Finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Grated
  • 1 Sprinkle Kosher salt cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Allspice
  • ½ tsp Curry powder
  • 2 Scotch Bonnet peppers Use gloves, Remove seeds and fine chop
  • 4 Scallions Chopped
  • ½ Cup Chicken broth
  • ½ Cup Bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Instructions
 

Make Some Dough

  • Whisk together the flour, salt, sugar, curry and turmeric powders. Add the grated butter into the bowl and combine with the dry ingredients. Then pour in the ice water and bring the dough together
  • Empty the dough out onto a clean surface and knead the dough. Just enough until the dough forms into one cohesive mass.
  • Cover the dough and place in the fridge to chill.

  • Brown the ground beef. Then add in the onion and cook until tender. Stir in the garlic + ginger. Toss in the spices/herbs and continue cooking. Then add the stock, breadcrumbs, and butter
  • Set the filling aside to cool down before patty assembly.
  • Roll out the dough then fill with some of the beef filling. Shape into a half moon and then use a fork to seal in the seams.
  • Place in the oven to bake up until they’re golden brown
  • Let the patties cool some and then serve immediately
